THE FACES OF COURAGE, FACING COVID 19
The Making Friends team rushed in just before lockdown in Malawi, to conduct our usual mobile clinic trips to the poorest communities in Malawi. We provided medicine and medical care to the vulnerable, sick and wounded. We managed to treat all patients before the lockdown sanctions were enforced. #courage #COVID19
A FIGHTING CHANCE
Wearing protective wear, the medical team handed out anti-bacterial soap and vitamins to the elderly and sick to give them a fighting chance. We believe love and kindness is also medicine!
Making A Difference
With this initiative, our goal is to teach, up-skill, pray for and befriend the local inmates. We aim to renew mindsets with positive thinking, lessons of righteousness and the encouragement to turn away from crime. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. Hospital Ministry is a service dedicated to bring comfort, support, a listening ear service and advice to those grieving and feeling hopeless. Malawi rural hospitals can be a lonely place with shortages of staff and resources, therefore we make it a priority to be a positive presence offering resources, transport, guidance and prayer to make a positive impact to those in need. We focus on education and community empowerment to shape change. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
We provide free quality health care via our Medical truck to those in desperate medical need & located in rural villages far away from clinics /hospitals. We have a qualified medical team that not only provides excellent medical care, but also offers compassion, warmth and hope to sick & desperate people.

This month we visited Anedi Village, T/A Unthumba. We continue to support rural communities where there's no medical support for many miles. We measure the progress of our regular patients and find many of them are recovering well and feel they are not forgotten.
